I us X8 for full-color sublimation and laser both have to be RGB. I have set my default color profile to RGB - the page looks just right. When I start a new doc. it still defaults to CMYK. I set the document color default to RGB. When I reopen it on another computer, it's right back to CMYK. As I do a lot of my design and layout at home and then come to the shop for production it is VERY frustrating.
With CorelDRAW open but no document open under the tools menu color management default set rendering for effects to RGB. All new files will be RGB. Old files that were CMYK will need to be changed to RGB manually and saved.
Theoretically that exactly what should happen but it doesn't. I have done this at least a dozen times and when I look at color management settings by document or by default all looks perfect - it just doesn't work. Everything from shapes to text insist on being CMYK. And changing all to RGB and saving doesn't work either. Talk about a time waster.
Ok assuming that you have all Windows updates, are you running Windows 10?
Do you have all CorelDRAW updates?
Can you post a link to a file?
Do you have soft proofing activated?
