I love the look of halftones but the only tool or methods I know how to create them is through raster images. This leaves them less useful when scaling up, which I need to do often when preparing mock up designs and then sizing up to actual size.
Is there a way to create scalable vector halftones?

Can you not do them using the halftone brushes within Corel Draw?
I'm think it's possible to convert from vectors to vector halftones directly if you have certain tools inside coreldraw - will check later today.
I'll be honest Ive never used brushes in Corel. How do you do that?
press the I (eye) key on your keyboard, that will open up the "Brushes" look for the property bar to change. Then select Abstract Halftone Brushes, and make your selection of which one you want to use. Draw it out, then break it apart, (they will be vector then) and you will be able to do as you please with them. Hope this helps. Jeff or others here with waayyy more experience than me may have another method as well.
