Above is a clip art, downloaded as an eps, opened in CD X8. the object appears to be white with a black outline, however, it is actually a curve with the fill being the black and the white part has no fill it is transparent. How do I make it an object that is fill-able and I can add an outline to? I have tried converting to an object, and tried combining but it just creates layers that I cannot seem to combine into one object that will take a fill and outline.
change all to no fill and black outline
use smart fill tool to click inside each element
