I use coreldraw for all my designing. I have to design some images for a Honda Dealer. The files available for download from Honda to use are in illustrator format. When i import them into coreldraw and export them for use in pdf or jpeg, only the images imported from AI get pixelated completely whereas the rest of the file is excellent. I have tried importing the ai file, psd file but the same issue. I exported the ai file to eps and then used it in coreldraw and i had good results. kindly help.
The "images available for download are in illustrator format" - by that you mean it's an ai file or psd? Just because it says ai doesn't make it all vector. Sometimes it's a combination of vector and raster. If the raster comes in at a low resolution then exporting them too will result in a low res. It would be hard to go over all the variables. The type of pdf preset used, the resolution of any raster images, etc.
I have tried importing both the ai file or the linked psd file. when imported in to coreldraw they look great. but once exported to pdf or jpeg they are pixelated heavily. The resolution in ai or psd seems to be fine.
