My Attempt:
I want to make a kind of soft bevel/ emboss effect on this text. You can see I've attempted but its off. I created an emboss effect in Corel Photo Paint and then blurred it and offset it. But I want it to appear like a highlight on a small soft bevel.
The only way Id know how to achieve the effect accurately is to custom make the highlights with the pen tool and blur them. Is there a simpler/ easier way?
I like to use the "Plastic Effect" under Bitmap/Texture. I usually make a copy of the shape (+ on the number keypad) then convert to rgb bitmap. Then under Bitmap/Texture you'll see "Plastic" play around with the settings before commiting.
