When you go to print a runcard of a design, can you export the runcard as a file instead? Like a jpg? By runcard, I mean the way the file is set up when you go to print. It lists the threads used and where they are used.
for digital printing (such as laser, plotter, etc) yes, you can export as JPG and send the jpg file. Bu is not a good option for offset printin of if you need high quality output. It's better to send a PDF instead
We don't need it for printing, as in production printing. We print the informational runcards so they know the color changes for the thread in production. We'd like to have digital files of the runcards instead of paper files. We use the runcards for reference in embroidery production, nothing more.
Download and install this program Cute PDF Writer
http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
Once it is installed, it will show up as a printer in your printer list.
You then go through the print the runcard as normal, except you select CutePDF as the printer instead of your normal printer.
When you click OK to print it will save as a PDF file instead of printing to paper.
Sorry if that sounds confusing, it is explained well on the website.
I use it a bit to send samples to customers.
Thank you, Stephen! That worked perfectly!
Glad to help.
