About two weeks ago Corel X6 stopped working, and I can't repair it, uninstall it, or reinstall it. Is this common? How do I fix it? I'm running it on Windows 8 on a recent Lenovo Ideapad.
WRalphWalters. One other thing you can try is look at the file with WinZip ( It's a Corel program and you can download a free trial.) you maybe able to pull a usable portion of the work that you can use, CorelDRAW uses that type of compression.

That means that there's some problems on your computer, that cause this shut down, and perhaps the program was damaged.. First of all, try to check the system, then you can use the same install files for "Repair" the installatios, or fi it's necessary, uninstall it then install again, but Repair should work. The installations files are on the Program Files / CorelDRAW / Setup folder

How long since you emptied the %temp% folder (or ran a program like cCleaner, which empties the %temp% folder) ?
Too many files in the temp folder can increase the probability of crashes.
