How to copy and then paste at a different location on the same drawing. Every time I paste, the copy goes on top of the original. Very annoying
zoom in select and copy the object you want. Now zoom into where you want that to go. Hit paste (cntrl+v)/ group(cntrl+g) if necessary then shift+select something near that spot and hit the letter "c" then "e" (center vert & horiz). Could also use a macro that I call ObjectReplacer. Zoom in to where you want the object to be placed. Create an object there if one doesn't already exist then hit the macro and it replaces that object with whatever is in the clipboard.
Don't know if or how it works with Designer but there is a macro for Draw that pastes clipboard content at the cursor's position.
