I watched your video on my tablet I couldn't see very much. I'll move to my 4K studio display later. I'm semi-retired with a morning routine (at least that's what my dog calls it) so this will be interesting.

NO, the pallets originated in CDR 2022
I'm not sure what's up with your system, mine does not perform exactly like yours.
Are you running the September update? Do you have all the Windows updates.
I just got video studio and need to set it up to start making some videos of the family. I'll make a video of my work environment and show you color working. I don't post YouTube crap that you can't (old and cranky) see so I'll send you a link to download the file it'll be big, but you'll be able to see.
On my system all the color palettes are working as expected, except the document palette, it places black swatches for some colors but not all.
In fact, 2022 September update color fill dialog works better than I've seen it work in quite a while. I do know that your spot color palette displays differently than mine, in your document palette some colors display as in mine and that the eyedropper has no ability to see in the dockers.
