i downloaded corel draw graphic suite x4 trial version today and im trying to install it on my computer.
i open the installer and it works fine. it extracts the contents into the tempory folder and then it tries to load the setup file and then the computer restarts automatically.
can someone please help me out in this?? im in need of corel draw but this thing isnt working when i need it to work.
i even checked with the system requirements and its all fine.
if u want to know then my system is
1.8 dual core processor.2GB ram160HDD\XP SP2
can someone pls help me out of this situation as soon as possible?? ive got a porject to finish in two more days which i need to do in corel draw!

Sounds like a memory problem. Google for a free memory test program and run it to see if it detects any problems.
It happens to me to and I have PC with similar characteristics and Windows XP SP too.
I don't know what's the problem, but I don't think that is the memory, cause I have done several memory tests and its OK.
I would really like to know what is the problem
Are there any other programs running when you try to install...like an antivirus?
You can try disabling all of them at startup...
Run > MSCONFIG > Startup
You can later turn them back on when you're done.
Do you have full administrative rights on the PC you are installing?
Programs often fail to install properly when attempting to install as a user with limited permissions. Though I don't know whether that is the case with X4 because I've only tried it as an admin level user.
Though I'd usually hope that a program needing admin rights would predict and check for that problem and come up with a more informative error message.
yo guys... me too having the same problem..
Installed windows xp sp2 few days ago..
when trying to install coreldraw x4 , after the extraction, pc restarting. i tried 4 times. KIS 2010 disabled and close all other running softwares... but no luck... Also downloaded the latest Windows Installer too.. but still the same..
before install windows recently, i was already installed coreldraw x4 from the same installation file without any error.
Updated DirectX and DOTNet framework too...
but still pc restarting.. now downloading the installer again from this site...
