Again with Adobe users I have seen them use a shortcut or a tool to get a quick preview of what an image or object will look like in CMYK print whilst they are working on it on screen.
Is there a CorelX5 equivalent?
Thanks.

Hi.
Did you try the Print Preview on the print dialog? Hit Ctrl - P to print and then you'll see the print preview button at bottom of dialog.

Hi,
If quick view is the goal then this commercial macro from macromonster is what you are looking for.
Another possibility is the "Soft Proofing" feature. It can be turned on and off with a click of an icon and you can specify different profiles to simulate.
Put soft proof in the help index & it'll come up for you.
Hope it helps
Hi Athol,
what you are wanting to do is very simple:
There is also a Proof Colors icon on the status bar, so once you have the right printer selected to simulate, you don't need the docker open to turn proofing on and off; simply use the status bar icon. As per Andrew's suggestion - it is always worth having a quick look at the help feature when you are unsure how to do something.
Best regards,Brian.
All good! Thanks and yes the Help Index will get more use.
Cheers.
