I hate having CONNECT instead of SCRAPBOOK. I don't know how to get around

Scrapbook is still there.:) You just have to know where to look for it. Go to Help>Help Topics.

you'll read this: You can also browse and search for clipart and other content by using the Scrapbook docker. The Scrapbook docker is not part of the default workspace and is available only through customization. To display the Scrapbook docker, see "To add or remove an item on a toolbar".

Go to 'customize your workspace and add it to the dockers menu under window>dockers.

Also, I find connect to be crash prone, but if I run it as it's own application it seems to work better. Run it from your start menu.

Maybe this will help.  I've had frustrations with Connect too, but I'm getting it a little more under control.  See the screencap at right. 

The bottom section titled "Folders" is where you navigate around your computer.  If you don't see the little triangles hover your mouse over the section and they'll appear.  Click in there until you are viewing the folder you want.  I have most of my stuff in a folder called AK-Graphics.  You can see this folder in the "Favorite Folders" section.  It's actual location isn't visible in the screencap, but what I did was navigate to it using the Folders section.  Then drag from the Folders section to the Favorite folders section.  Now, instead of having to navigate to it each time it's always just one click away in the Favorite folders section.
