trying to print a poster with several transparency bitmaps, Corel starts printing process, but the print job is not going to the printer, the print queue is empty and sometimes Corel crashes. The Corel file is 24 MB.
I tryed to export the poster as jpg and reimport to Corel: no succes. Photoshop prints the jpg without any problem.
What is the problem with Corel?
There is not enough information, but for now: did you tried to publish it to pdf? What happens in that case? Did you tried with print preview to see what printer see (or how it will see it)?
Hi, thanks for answer.
I tried to publish as pdf. But Corel creates the pdf-file not correct. In printer prewiew the job from Corel is o.k.
It seems to me that some of your transparencies (it can be only one) are the reason for printing problem. But it should still be able to print jpg. What you can try is: 1. try to print from print preview - there is some difference; 2. install pdf printer if you don't have one (there are lots of them on the web for free) and print your file to pdf from there. That is what I can think at this time, but I'll give it some tought...
First I wish you a very good newe year.
Because my printer (HP Designjet 3500CP) is RGB and PS3-Printer, I solved the problem by printing out via Postscript.
Indeed the problems are the transparencies. But why Corel has a problem to handle these printing to RGB-Printer but no problems to rasterize for PS is unintelligible.

What settings do you use? Have you tried PDF X/3?

Try send the file to print using the "rasterize entire page" activated.
