I use CorelDraw exclusivity for my Sign Company and was woundering if the is a macro or even a setting that I have missed within CorelDraw for showing square footage or square dimensioning for a selection you have.
Thank you,
Craig
I think there is a MACRO AVAILABLE at macromonster.com
GetArea12c is the one I have.

Jeff. Would the commercial macro you have on your site called "eCut for Corel Draw" work in this case?

Thank you all,
Maybe I am missing something or I did not explain myself. I appologize.
It I have text or an object on my document that is selected, I need it to take the lengnth by height of the object and multiply it by itself and figure the square footage that i need. What I do know is; select text (or an object) take the x and y, multiply it and IF it is in inches I take that sum and multiply it by 144 to get the square footage. I can do manually like I do but was wondering if there was a macro to do this.

Clairification please. Are you trying to find the actual area of the objects selected or are trying to find the area of the amount of material you will need to use to create the object including "waste" on a vinyl cutter. (the area of a rectangle circumscribed around the objects.) ?
