Is there a way to see or determine the start and end point of a drawing path? I'm exporting a CorelDraw file as a .plt file to a plotter/cutter and the manufacturer of the plotter/cutter saws the start point of the cut is determined in CorelDraw.
I want to be able regulate where the cutter starts cutting the material and where it stops at the end of the cut path.
With the path selected, the first node will have a larger box around it. If you select that node with the shape tool it will say First Node on the property bar. you can right-click on that node and pick Reverse Curve which will make the node at the other end of the path the start node.
Evan...awesome, I'll look into it and see if the plotter does what its suppose to.
I have found the only way to break the point i want to make it the start point and then joint them again, works for me in CNC using Ucancam software.
Hello, ecut is a commercial add-on for Coreldraw that allows you to quickly pick any node on a curve as a starting point.
It also does nesting, which saves material.
It also does route optimization (sets most practical output of the shapes, lessening unnecessary cutter & laser head movement).
Thank you. How much does it cost?
