Is there a way to set CorelDraw 12 a default font & nudge states? It seems to start a new file with random settings. I have to set a bunch of settings each time I start a new task. Since I'm usually doing the same type of graphics, I'd like to always start with the same settings, just as CD12 always starts with the same page ruler settings. However, I can't figure out how to fix the starting font & nudge settings. x
Hello RJ Burke; When you start CorelDRAW, on a NEW ( page is best ) set everything the way you want it and as said above use the Save As Default under the Tools on the menu bar then close .That program and the next time you start Deaw they should be set for yor you.

I've never been able to get these suggestions to work properly. Eventually CD resets all the defaults to the CD original settings, and I have to start over again.
• change default font
Tools - Customisation - Document - Styles - Deafaul Artistic Text (set your preferences) - Ok
Tools Save Settings As Default
• nudge - change it and go Tools - Save Settings As Default
