Hi guys,
Could anyone help me, I am not an expert in Corel DRAW but my corel PHOTO-PAINT 12 is showing a problem.
When I edit a pictures and try to work with CLONE feature, each time, after I select the target, I press to clone, it activate the UNDO button, and nothing happen with my changes.
Help please,
Manpito.
It could be because of corrupted workspace. Try pressing F8 while you start PP. It will prompt you to set the workspace to factory defaults. Click yes and see if it works fine.
Anand,
Thank you very much for your tip.
It is working. But tell me, why does it happen?? So I can correct my mistake if any.
Thanks again,
Like anand says, it's a corrupted workspace. That can happen if you began working with a corrupted image in PHOTO-PAINT that you might have downloaded off the internet. Or it could be a corrupted storage device, like a pen drive, that you stored your images in so you could transfer to your machine. The image was clean when you downloaded it, but it gets corrupted in transit in the drive, and when you finally upload it to your system, it's dirty and goes and messes up whichever software you use to open it with. I would know, because all the above has already happened to me on various occasions.
What can you do? Get smart protection, like i did. A good antivirus, like norton or avg. They'd notify you if there are any virus threats on your system, or on a web site you're about to open, or if a plugged-in external hard drive is corrupted.
This could be one of the precautions every one should take. However I have experienced this problem even after having installed updated AV, Latest OS updates, Latest Corel updates and what not. I am really not able to find the reason for this.
