This is a comparison, but not 100% accurate. I had to edit the left image to roughly look like the way its saving.
The design on the right is how I designed it and the one on the left is how it is saving. Ive tried JPEGs and TIFFs and get the same result.
All of the colors I see in Corel are always viewed in RGB even if I choose a CMYK value, Its been like that since we upgraded to X8 from X6. I also work with Windows 10 OS with BootCamp on a Mac (dont know how much that matters)
How can I fix this? Is there a Color Management Setting I can use? How can I view Correct Colors while working so that I dont run into colors issues at the end?
It appears that you may have changed document defaults, open a new document using your new presets for cold management. Under tool options document check to save document settings as default. his may resolve the issue.
I dont know what you mean by "check to save document settings." I thought checking the box labeled "Save options as defaults for new documents" was it but I still have the same issue.
It seemed to work for a little while yesterday but its back to turning my color management settings off. And actually it is continuously unchecking the box I mentioned.
Great that will hold
Thanks for all the help in the past, Im sure this seems extremely strange because it is. This issue Ive found out is nothing to do with Corel, but a macro that we use here for separating colors for screen printing. The macro for X8 has a lot of color palette and color management quirks.I think because it works with pure RGB values it switches the views to appear that way in order to do its job but just does reset to it's prior settings/ conditions when it's done. I have no idea how code and macros work so I've learned to just work around them. And often it doesn't get in the way too much since CMYK values don't really matter unless I do something outside of screen printing like the card in this example.
Macros like all software have value, when they WORK. I chose to not use them because I keep moving forward with my operating system as associated applications.
I make money, not programs and screwing with an issue costs way too much money. All my local screen printers with 4 or more employees use automated separating software and ink sets. Really fast and reliable.
Care to share what those softwares are? I'm not really in charge of anything here, but my boss is open to things so long as they aren't outrageously expensive and fit into the flow
Everyone has a digital solution, a direct to garment device and something like this. The Brother or Epson DTG machines are everywhere.

My suggestion is to use a RIP/SEPERATION software that does not require there specific inks.
