In Corel PHOTO-PAINT®, select an object, and create a duplicate (Ctrl + D). Select the duplicate, and click Adjust > Local Equalization.In the Local Equalization dialog box, move the Width and Height sliders to 255, the highest possible value. Then in the Objects docker, choose Overlay from the Merge Mode list box. The Overlay merge mode is ideal for manipulating both the dark and light areas of your image.
