When creating cartoon work, you can add a bit more character to your lines by either using the Artistic Media Tool and choosing from stroke Presets on the Property bar, or by clicking on the Outline Pen Settings (F12), applying a width and adjusting the Nib Shape. By default, guideline color is set to a medium blue. However if you are working with blue objects you can change guidelines to a new color in order to get a better contrast.
1. Double click on a guideline to open the Guidelines Docker. 2. Open the Guideline Color flyout list (a), and choose a different color.
Note: You also can add different colors to 2 or more guidelines. Just repeat the steps above for each one.
