There doesn't seem to be a pattern or a particular type of file I am working on, but I've been having this issue lately. I will be working on a file, and just suddenly Coreldraw is gone! It just shuts down. Doesn't give an error message or anything. When I start the program up again, it will say it found a backup file (or more than 1) do I want to open it? and of course, unless I've recently saved it, I will have lost most of my work. I just don't know why it is shutting down. Any insight??
If you look at the the thread: Coreldraw Minimising into Background Apps - Causing Problems Opening Files
you'll see that there's a problem with CGS2018. If itis minified with no files open, it makes Win10 very unstable.
Is this your issue?
That's my thread as it happens! :)
Two completely independent problems though, both annoying. The minimising issue is an annoyance and costs time, but doesn't cost work. This problem is more serious as it can lose quite a bit of work (especially as the autobackup system is, at best, erratic).
