Seriously... why is it gone?having a tough time w/ 18 and constantly going back to X4 to do certain things.
The color palette in Edit Fill keeps bringing me to the Pantone palette
when I would like RGB or CMYK. It's not saving my preferences. What gives?
The "Apply to duplicate" Command is still available.
To the best of my knowledge, that setting only applies - in recent versions of CorelDRAW, at least - when one is using the Free Transform tool.
Right... so why remove an ingredient so it continues to taste good?
It was quite convenient in the Transformation > Size docker
Meh
I think I may have misunderstood what you were referring to. I was thinking of the "Apply to duplicate" setting that works with the Free Transform tool.
In the Transformations docker, one can set the number of copies to 1 in order to duplicate the original and apply the specified transformation to that duplicate.
I think that it's great that they added the "Copies" capability, but I agree that they should also have a dedicated "Apply to duplicate" button in the docker to allow a quick "one shot" operation without having to change the number of copies (which is sticky, so I have to change it back to 0 the next time I want to carry out a transformation without duplicating).
I wish Corel would show more willingness to tweak and refine things such as this. Too many things end up being "not quite right" forever.

They would if they just leave it alone.
This may be petty things but for some reason they're a PITA!
I guess I would just do whatever modification "in-place" (right-click copy) and size it. Hah...
Thanks Eskimo
You might already be aware of this, but if not...
Pressing the "+" key on the numeric keypad duplicates the selection "in place", e.g., with an offset of 0,0.
