Are the images at final size at 300 dpi? becuase if you reduce or enlarge it, the image size will change.
Also, there was a difference according the size of each image. For example, if it was an image of 150x100 mm at 300 dpi CMYK the CDR size should be around 5 Mb for one image, so 43 shoukd be around 250 Mb.
Heres a few tips from me.
I have quite a few photo heavy portfolio files in which I exclusively use linked images, it works but I had to learn the hard way.
Thank you for your tips. I've already learned the hard way on some of them. Seems like the program would have these issues resolved. Could have taken the brilliant softfware of Ventura and just incorporated it. Oh well.
If your CDR fie is created and published to PDF correctly the resulting PDF at output will be very similar in size to what a Ventura file will be. Required resolution at print size is a standard and specific for output types. The only thing that can change that is the compression used for the images and objects in the PDF. User beware compression can adversely affect output quality.
