This printer at my workplace was working fine this morning Really. Don't have a clue what changed.
Now everything it prints is too large, as if it were printing the image to fit on tabloid but still printing on letter size paper. It works fine in MS Word. Just seems to be an issue when printing from CorelDraw.
I tried shutting down the laptop and the printer, restarting the laptop and then turning the printer back on. It is a network connection, but as I said Word is having no problems printing the proper size image.
Any ideas on how to fix this are appreciated! The sooner, the better, since this is costing me valuable time at work!
Thanks,
Lisa
Sounds like maybe a driver issue or postscript issue or something in your windows registry got goofed? I'm not super techy so...
Maybe suggest double check printing properties to make sure something isn't accidentally set to wrong page size.
You could try converting your text to curves to see if it's the specific font giving the printer issue to resolve a postscript issue.
Maybe uninstall printer driver reinstall it, or uninstall Corel and reinstall it if something in Windows got messed up causing some confusion.
If you're in a big hurry to get something out try exporting to PDF and see if that works.
I've not had issues with Corel printing and it has my favorite most flexible print options I've ever found.
Good luck!
The registry was not changed in the few hours between successful printing and the double-size printing.
I've quadruple checked the paper and page settings for both Corel and the printer. All set to letter.
I only had objects, no text.
I currently don't have time to reinstall printer driver. Besides, other programs are printing just fine. I certainly don't want to reinstall CorelDraw and have to set up all my preferences and desktop again, especially considering it prints to other printers fine (when I use this laptop at home, for instance).
I can print the PDF just fine but that is a lousy workaround--having to save everything as a PDF just to print it.
I hate HP printers. It used to be all we bought at home but never again. I can't help that my workplace purchased this prior to my arrival.
Thanks tho.
Is there no one who can help my issues with printing from HP to CorelDraw??? In Windows 10?
Well I found my on answer: it does it when printing in draft mode. It prints fine in normal mode. See community.coreldraw.com/.../printing-too-large.
