how to use CorelDraw file with previous version

Hi Guys,

how to use CorelDraw file (2019) with previous of the CorelDRAW (2018). Because the 2019 version does not run and I can not open CorelDraw 2019

    This is a slightly lengthy workaround, but it works for me:

    1. Download and install Inkscape (it's a free graphics app).
    2. Go to the folder with the 2019 cdr file that you want to open in 2018.
    3. Right click the cdr file to get the fly-out menu.
    4. Move your pointer to "Open with" and select and left click Inkscape. The cdr graphic will open in Inkscape.
    5. In Inkscape, click on "File", top left of screen.
    6. Scroll down and click on "Save as...". 
    7. A window will open. Click on "Save as type:" and select "Optimized SVG (*.svg)". Inkscape SVG sometimes introduces artifacts. Click "Save". The svg file will be saved to the same folder as the cdr file.
    8. Close Inkscape, go to the folder with the newly created svg file.
    9. Double click the svg file, it should open in CorelDraw 2018. Save the new graphic in 2018 cdr format.
