I had to reinstall Windows. GRRR
where to I access my copy of CGS 2018?
One place you could try, just for the download: Get your CorelDRAW software here!
You could also try logging into your Corel account. I don't know if they offer some other ways to download the installer, but that would have some information about machines and licenses.

We need proof of order... like I'm going to have that from 2016!
And then Lofi hang up!
I have the serial number for every application I have ever bought. If I trash the install copy I trash the number.
Being unorganized is unprofitable so I avoid it.
I wasn't planning on today. All I wanted to do was add 16gb of ram. It was a 5 minute job.
It's now 14 hours later, I've had to reinstall windows and I still can't get it to recognize the extra ram. Even though it's OK with the bios and ram tests perfectly.
I've read a dozen help files, update the bios, flipped the memory switch in windows, turn off the swap file... you name.
Now I have this fricken mess that's to windows being 30 years of incompetent and unable to reload itself without just obliterating the system.
I started at 10AM and it is 2AM now. And I have nothing like a working system.
I can't see any sign in the Corel records that I've paid for X8 and I obviously did or I wouldn't have been able to use it. It was a drama to buy the "update" as I was updating the free X6 from the beta program. It was still pay for and authorized.
It's only Corel that keep me on windows. Otherwise I'd dump it for Linux any day!
Windows has become are really crap OS. Half the interface in one format and other parts in another. A "repair" system that is destructive. It's become even crappier!
Amazing I have few to no problems with Windows, I ad new hardware and software at will. I don't like some of the features but Windows 10 is pretty much plug and play.
You can look forward to this issue.
It's called "hardware reserved ram". I'm buggered if I can get the ram to be active in windows. I'd be very surprised if this hadn't happened to others and they just didn't notice it.
I checked the bios and all ram reports equal speeds etc. I've done a ram test.
I'd be watching out for the issue. Task manager, performance, memory.
