CorelDRAW keeps changing my capitalization of technical abbreviations in a way which makes me look stupid: "MHz" becomes "MHZ", and "GHz" becomes "Ghz". I have tried adding the correct replacements to word lists, to no avail. I can't find a way to disable this auto-correct feature entirely, which would be my preference. Has anyone fought auto-correct, and won?
I presume you've "unchecked" this?
Thanks. Unchecking the box you highlighted allowed me to use "GHz", but "MHz" was still changed to "MHZ" for some reason. However, unchecking "Replace text while typing" solved that problem as well. Thanks again!
As you have discovered, this replacement is included in 'Replacement text' list. While you can work around it by disabling 'Replace text while typing', you can also delete it from the replacement text list, while leaving other replacement text items in the list enabled:Sharon
