That's not a problem that I have ever experienced personally.
For a start, I would suggest that you look at the folder where your workspaces are stored. For me, with the username "eskimo", that folder is: C:\Users\eskimo\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019\Draw\Workspace.
Your "AppData" folders are normally hidden in Windows. A shortcut way to get to your AppData\Roaming folder is to enter %appdata% into the navigation bar in Windows File Explorer, and then navigate further down from there.
When you get to the folder where those workspace .CDWS files are stored, see if there is one there named _default.cdws.
If there is a file there with that name, then try deleting it (do this with CorelDRAW not open). Then, start CorelDRAW.
The normal behavior is that, if that file is deleted, CorelDRAW automatically creates a new copy the next time it is started.
Eskimo, Thanks. I had the same problem of missing shapes and stars. I reset to default workspace. I know not why I was on the page layout workspace or how I managed to get there
Hi I'm having the same problem, but I did the deletion of the _default.cdws file while Corel was closed, and it didn't fix the problem. Any other ideas of how to get those tools back? I had been using them all along, and they just disappeared when my computer restarted itself yesterday. I have Windows set to not update itself without my permission, as it ruins the performance of my RIP software, so it shouldn't have been an update within Windows or anything.
Very strange AKSThomp.Try to export your workspace first (if it is customized), and then switch to the default workspace to see if it appears. If it does, maybe you can start from there and import the important parts of your workspace into the default and save with a new name.If it doesn't appear, try any of the other workspaces. If it still is missing, I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall (try "Repair" first).
In the toolbox, click the Common Shapes tool .
Open the Perfect Shapes picker on the property bar, and click a shape.
Drag in the drawing window until the shape is the size you want.
Like other shapes, shapes that are drawn from the Perfect Shapes picker can be modified.
