In CorelDraw 2018, the Text Properties docker has a nice character spacing control:
In CorelDraw 2019, it's absent in the Text docker:
There appears to some options in the Properties docker, but maybe has to be enabled by fonts themselves?
I can't find anything in the Text menu. I use this feature quite often, I'll be very annoyed if it's gone! (Resizing the text box definitely does not achieve the same result.)
Try clicking the drop-down arrow to expand that part of the Text docker.
Those controls are still present.
Thanks!
Don't I feel stupid now? I was sure I had thoroughly explored everything.
You're welcome.
You could just have easily thought, "Why did they move that?!"
I have never liked the "rolled up by default" thing on all the dockers. I would prefer that the initial configuration had them all expanded. Let the user roll them up - if they wish - after seeing what's in them.
Thank you again Eskimo, I looked many times to find this option and it was so obvious. You are a credit to these forums.
oh my! I have been looking for the bloody thing since day of installation. I am stupid too haha, thanks Eskimo
Huh, just spent 15 minutes looking for this in CD2021. I was looking at that menu in the first pic thinking that I should find it somewhere...somewhere...but it was never found. Please, when designing software, use drop down menus with teeny weeny arrows as little as possible. At least it's nice to find the answer here. Thanks Austenite and Eskimo.
Agree Pietari. In this case there is no reason to have a dropdown at all, and if they feel they must have one, it should be unfolded by default of course.
