Hi, I'm trying to import a PDF (from the U.S. patent office), but every time I try to import, Corel Draw 2019 hard crashes. Closes the program. I've tried 5 times, tried rebooting my PC, etc.. but nothing helps. I've attached the PDF. I'm importing as "text" and "comments on separate layer"
Just tried it here (in Aus) and it crashes mine too. Must be document specific, because I can import other PDF files. If you don't need to edit it, make a jpg file from it in Acrobat / Photoshop and import that...
Thanks. Yeah, I took a screen shot. I think it's a valid PDF file. Adobe Acrobat Pro runs it no problem.
If you need a full size version of it and don't have Acrobat other than Reader, happy to make a 300dpi jpg for you...
That's very kind of you. It was for a power point slide, so no worries.
The PDF file also forces close when importing in CorelDRAW in all versions at least back to X7. I have tried different kinds of Import, same results.
It does not produce a crash dump which makes me think it's something specific in the file that CorelDRAW does not understand.
I will log internally.
