I have been having trouble sorting a cut contour for versaworks and corel 2019 GS????
I have looked for tutorials and also videos but there is only stuff out there for older stuff.
If the dockers are the same as 2018 go to Windows > Dockers > Colour Palette Manager then locate the Roland Versaworks Palatte.
Thank you Chris we are trying this now did t see there was any responses till today
In addition to what Cláudio and Chris said, I believe it is possible to use any spot color as long as it is named CutContour.
Yes we have spot colour all sorted however for what ever reason when we export it and put in Versa Works it still has no cutlines. I now am wondering if it’s a Versa Works issue or cdgs2019 uses a different way to items out.
Make sure you export (PDF?) with colors as "Native", and/or that "Convert spot colors to" is unchecked, or they will be converted to CMYK or RGB.
I've exported before as eps but that and PDFs do not work for some reason
What, exactly, doesn't work?Is it export via EPS/PDF or only the CutContour part?If you manage to export (I preferred PDF when I used VersaWorks many years ago) and then import the file back into Draw, is the CutContour still a spot color with correct name, or has it changed to a CMYK or RGB color? What happens if you bring the attached PDF (zipped) into VersaWorks? For D-esigns.zip
Works in Versaworks 6.
Worked a treat thank you
as below it was versaworks issue I had a slightly older version but upgrading to versaworks 6 has done trick
