I just started using Corel Draw 2019 and the page reference says it is at 0,0....but it is actually at -1.25 at y and 1.25 at x. As noted in my picture, the position is set at the bottom left. Any reason this is happening? I am using 21.2 version and there are so far no further updates. It is damn inconvenient, especially when using macros. Any help would be appreciated.
With the default settings, CorelDRAW should normally have 0,0 for the rulers at the lower left hand corner of the page.
I think that 2019 is failing to do that if the page is not U.S. Letter size, portrait orientation.
You can move the origin by clicking on the square where the rulers intersect, then dragging it to where you want 0,0 to be (for example, snapping it to the corner or center of the page).
That fixed it! However, it does it regardless of portrait or landscape, and I use US letter size. Thanks that is an easy workaround that should be unnecessary. I hope Corel gets their *** together, they risk losing a lot of customers if not!
FWIW, the easiest way to reset page origin to lower left corner is to double click the square where the rulers meet.Save Setting as Default should make Draw remember this for new documents.
Would much prefer origin point to be top left...
That would go against 30 years of DTP.
