just happened today. Every time I create some kind of new artwork, I always export it to .jpg before sending it to the customer
for approval..Today it quit working. It goes through the routine, I click on export, pick .jpg, and the export to box comes up, but the file is not created
So I did the F8 reset which of course created a couple of new probs for me such as deleting my custom settings such as making the outline a hairline and now it defaults to .5 but it didnt
help.
Anybody have a solution for me?
Thanks
And yes I did search all over the computer for the files but they aint there
Hiya, Mike!
You might try my Quick Export macro to see if that works.
That might not be the ultimate solution to your problem - you would of course like to have CorelDRAW working 100% - and it doesn't have all of the options of the regular export dialog.
If that works, though, it might be enough to cover your "customer approval" needs.
When strange things like this happen to me, I usually shut the computer off (for 30 seconds) then restart. If problems persist, re-install software.
Before doing all this though, check your "quick access" tool in your file explorer window first.
ahhhhh, my autocad mentor. Glad to see you out there. Here's a hint: I was looking to add a "watermark' to the back of the image and according to some website, you create the image then click on the transparency tool and I think that screwed things up, but not sure.
thanks
UPDATE!! First off this is in the wrong forum--I have 2017
But anyway, Corel sez they don't support 2017 anymore and try coming over here for support..
couple of things.
1. Make sure when the first dialogue box opens that you have "Selected only" checked.
2. Close corel, dump temp files - hit start, type %temp% then enter, delete all that mess, restart corel
3. why jpg? We use png. Why CMYK? makes the file size larger. We use rgb.
