You would think they would know I bought the tool. While putting in ads like this may be mainstream for Windows folks, I find this highly annoying on the Mac and quite frankly I think this behaviour needs to be avoided at all costs and I'm not sure this complies with some of Apple's guidelines. I'm surprised Corel has done this (well maybe not), but I'm surprised that it keeps appearing.
I don't use a Mac, but I will assume the menu layouts are similar to Windows version of CD
Go to Help->Message Settings
Then check/uncheck and select frequency option.
Its not under Help, but under the app's title/generic menu, where the About options are, etc. However, even with everything unchecked, you still get messages... Thanks for nothing Corel. I bought CorelDraw for specific functionality, but never again. They've lost a customer over this.
