When I go to open a 2019 CorelDRAW file the program crashes. I have managed to open some files and discovered that if I try to save these with the existing page numbers then it crashes - I have to remove the page numbers and add them all again manually (so they don't automatically change), so I'm thinking the page numbers might be the reason I can't open these other files, but I need to be able to open them in order to take the page numbers off. I really I want page numbers to work as it's quite a key feature that I should be able to use. I'm pulling my hair out and have had no support from Corel who have just suggested I clear all Caches on a newly installed program...
Thank you to anyone who can offer assistance.
Sorry, don't have any suggestions but I am having similar issues - I am a mac user with Corel Draw 2021 and every time I try to add auto page numbering (Layout / Insert Page Numbering) it seems to work fine until I go to save the file and then it crashes - I really need this feature to work as it would be a big time saver for future work - Thanks.
I've had a response from CorelDraw Support, who looked into my crash reports etc. and confirmed that the page numbers were causing the crash and the reason I couldn't open some files. They have passed it on the the Developer Team, as there is no current fix. Now - when I open a file with page numbers - I have to replace all the page numbers with normal text and make sure I change them all manually. If I use Page Numbers, I may never be able to reopen the file. I guess we just wait until it gets sorted - apparently I will be notified...
