Is there a macro or feature in X5 that would help with the creation of interlaced images for 3d and animated lenticular lens printing? I have quite a bit of lens material and am exploring the possibilities. There are a few free interlacing programs out there but they all have limitations of one sort or another.
I'm not aware of any special features, but I did make one many years ago.
I'll see if I can find it.
I've not found it, but it was done for a show in 1999 and was probably done in CorelDraw 7.
As best as I can remember, I peeled the backing off a lenticular mousemat, counted its line frequency and then:
It did work, though I only made a single copy for our noticeboard.

It did work, though I only made a single copy for our noticeboard.
Annnnnd now I want to know where I can get some lenticular stock...

As I mentioned, I got mine by pulling a lenticular mousemat apart. Though it would be a bit tedious to do that for more than a couple of samples.
I think I subsequently find some "blank" material being sold on ebay. but there's none there now.

Found some: http://store.nexternal.com/vuethru/flip-lenticular-lens-blanks-with-optically-clear-adhesive-various-sizes-p22.aspx
I was mistaken. It took a bit of finding, but there is one (possibly more) currently on ebay:

I ain't shipping from the UK to the US. I just ordered a sample, by mistake from a german company, and they shipped it. 78¢ for the sample, $115 in UPS.
That should be pretty easy. Just make an alternating stripes as mask. I did that in Photoshop but the principle should be the same. You can reference this tutorial, http://www.vicgi.com/lenticular-interlacing-algorithm.html
Good luck!
