Question #1Why the heck are there no commercial Corel artistic media brushes out there? I know that you can make your own, but I can't be the only one who would happily pay for aftermarket brushes, and it seems bizarre that I can't find any. Is there a secret handshake I have to know to find them or something?Question #2I started with C6 and I know there used to be workarounds to use Adobe brushes, but I haven't tried to do it for years; is there still a way to convert AI, Affinity or even Procreate brushes to Corel 21? (Standalone/perpetual license Windows version if it matters.)
Try Advanced Artist, buyer beware!
I appreciate the help, David. I'm guessing you might be referring to the "Advanced TShirt" guy? His are about the only Corel brushes I've come across, but most of them seem to be shapes/objects versus the beautiful engraving, woodcutting, halftone and crosshatching type brushes I'm hoping to find. (And that are so easy to find for AI...) But, if all else fails, I might suck it up and give his a try.
I suggest if you try these brushes that a smal purchase, I did a download years ago and the complexity of some of the brushes caused issues. They could be modified but that's work. Paths that cross over one another can be problematic.
