Are you certain the truck's lights were not on Phil? They sure look like they are to me and it looks like the truck is coming towards us!

Hi Phil,
thanks for the compliment, but that was just a quick bit of fun really. I am curious, is that one complete original photo or is it made up from more than one photo? I think you may have darkened parts of it and left the sky untouched, but I am not totally sure. I would guess the truck was really a little lighter than it appears in your image and maybe the dark trees were also not quite so black?
Best regards,Brian.
Phil1923 said:Hi Brian, You are absolutely correct. The sky is imported but not retouched. The land was filled with black. The back of the truck was darkened. Lately, I have started to darken the picture towards the sides but I didn't do it here. Once again. Great retouch. Phil
it is amazing how far you have come over the last few years with what you can do. I don't think I have seen a straight (un-manipulated) image from you in quite some time. You are really into changing things and combining images and you are good at it too! You will be getting a reputation soon for the man who makes dull images exciting.
Hi Brian. Well done, the main lights color is very real.

Hi Jesus,
thanks for the compliment. I created a new layer, drew a circular mask, filled it with a yellowish white and then duplicated it. I moved the duplicate to the opposite side of the truck. I then applied Effects>Camera>Lens Flare to each light separately, each with a clip mask to control the extent of the effect across the image. This was done very quickly, just for fun, with no great accuracy.
