Night on South Mountain P1250305

Hi Everybody,
.. The attached was taken on the top of South Mountain about 10 days
ago.
I tried to turn a gray day into a colorful night by the following.
1. Increased contrast of the woods.
2. Made the sky black.
I have noticed in pictures by other people that the color of the sky
determines if the picture looks like a day or night picture.
However, night pictures which show color are not realistic. Humans
are virtually color blind shortly after sunset.

  • Hi Phil,

nice image and that looks like a beautiful place to visit. Oops, sorry, I keep forgeting that this thread even exists. I really need to sort through some images and start posting them. I still haven't taken the new shots of my friend Lea yet, as she works 2 jobs and is hard to catch. I will try to post some images really soon.

    Best regards,
    Brian.
