Cannot Run CD 2017

The program installs ok but I'm unable to run it. It hangs at the "Let's get acquainted screen". I cannot get beyond it. It seems to not recognize that I've entered a password. Attached is a screen shot. I've also tried it by choosing a new account - same result.  I've had no reply from tech support. I also have the latest version of Painter, Aftershot, Video Studio and Paintshop Pro. I really like Corel, but their poor support is a bit distressing.

Win 10, Edge. Win updates all installed. I also set up Internet Explorer as the default browser - that didn't work either.

  • waltm40, have you been able to resolve this issue?

    This error usually indicates that the password includes special characters.

    Perhaps try changing your password on www.corel.com to one that does not use special characters and try signing in again.

    If this does not work, please let me know and I will forward your post to the Customer Support team.
