i am sure there is a simple solution:
on page one i will have 2 layers. One of the layers i will click on the eye and print icons to hide all objects on that layer.
but when i create a second page (or more) by hitting the plus sign at the bottom left of the app all objects that are in the hidden layer on page one appear on page 2
help?
-thx in advance, - handsome john
Maybe it's a Master Layer?
can you share a capture or the file for find the right answer
thank you for replying; attached is a 3 part image showing my steps.
The circle is on the "desktop" layer, then it will appears on all pages. Move inside to the right page
I knew it was something simple!-- thank you so much for your help!
It's the wonderful, intuitive, can't-optionally-be-turned-off Page/Desktop behavior of CorelDRAW. It magically kicks in when a second page is added, quietly moving any objects that lie outside the page boundary from whatever layer(s) they might be on to the Desktop layer.
Can you tell that I'm not the biggest fan of this "feature"?
