Hello all,
The following steps crashes Corel X4 when opening a saved document:
1) Define color space as seen in the image below.
2) Import your images into layout. (Usually they are sRGB so they are being converted to working space.)
3) So far so good. Now save your work (cdr) and close it.
4) Now when you try to open the saved cdr file, it will attempt to load and Corel will crash (disappear) without giving an error.
Later I figured what's going on. The problem was activating Import/Export settings under color Management and when I disable it, I can open the saved work succesfully. But as long as I turn it on before opening the project, crash is absolutely unavoidable.
This bug report is valid for X4 with or without SP1, SP2 etc.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
This will happen if your ICC profile got corrupted for one or another reason! Re installing Draw will probably fix this issue, on the other hand most people never use the default profiles because of their unstable nature, I would recommend to load one of the other sRGB profiles instead after all the default profile is a sRGB profile.
Well, I'm aware of what I'm doing with the color management. Let's not turn this into a "Yet another color management thread for newbies!" ;)
While some Corel employees are active members in the community, the official way to report a bug is to go through the technical support.

Unfortunately am unable to replicate your issue, my system responds as designed. I have attempted to replicate the issue using the exact profiles posted in your image.
Thank you for checking this issue. I have files failing differently (some crashing and some freezing etc.) So I'd like you to check one more file and if you can open this file using the above color management settings I will install windows and everything else from scratch.
