I am working on a macro where the filename of a .jpg will be placed on the worksheet. Anyone know how to pull the filename and place it?

Hi Harry,

Don't know if you remember me. You were helping me with a batch file for selecting pictures from a folder to use while executing a macro. I have been working with a programmer I know local to me. He was able to complete that task. He does not know how to do the second part.

The second part is to take the text of each .jpg file(file name) and place it under the location of the .jpg. He can't get the file name to write to the sheet we are working with.

I have attached the macro I am using.

OK, I don't have time to study this completely at the moment but it would be something like this:

Dim s9 As Shape
Set s9 = ActiveLayer.CreateArtisticText(1.304646, 9.70135, FileName)
s9.Fill.UniformColor.CMYKAssign 0, 0, 0, 100
s9.Outline.SetNoOutline
s9.story.Font = "Arial"
s9.story.Size = 10

If you place that code inside the sub CropAndMove code you should have the FileName and should be able to change the position where you create the text, as an offset to the values passed to CropAndMove.
