Hi Everyone,
I've seen macros that will convert all text within a document to curves, but is there one that will save the current file WITH fonts intact PLUS save a duplicate file at the same time with all text in the document converted to curves?
So essentially, you'll have 2 files saved. One with fonts and one with all fonts in document converted to curves.
Is that even possible?
Thanks!

ActiveDocument.SaveAs "C:\Users\Myron\Desktop\" + "CURVES" + Name, SaveOptions
SendKeys "^(s)"
Is this what you mean?
change this
ActiveDocument.SaveAs Path + "CURVES" + Name, SaveOptions
to
ActiveDocument.SaveAs Path + Left$(Name, Len(Name) - 4) & "-CURVES" & ".cdr", SaveOptions
You're welcome.
What is location of your files converted to curves? (filname-CURVES.cdr)
Best regards
Mek

On X4 it was called "Prepare for ServiceBureau". Different name, similar results. You will have a copy of your file under a separate folder.
Anyway, you can send a PDF for printing. You can add a shortcut for this (ie, I use the < key, on the spanish keyboard is between the Shift and Z keys). Although the PDF can convert automatically all text to curves, you don't need to do it (because the PDF can include all fonts)
