Hi Everyone,
I've seen macros that will convert all text within a document to curves, but is there one that will save the current file WITH fonts intact PLUS save a duplicate file at the same time with all text in the document converted to curves?
So essentially, you'll have 2 files saved. One with fonts and one with all fonts in document converted to curves.
Is that even possible?
Thanks!
Jason

change this
ActiveDocument.SaveAs Path + "CURVES" + Name, SaveOptions
to
ActiveDocument.SaveAs Path + Left$(Name, Len(Name) - 4) & "-CURVES" & ".cdr", SaveOptions

On X4 it was called "Prepare for ServiceBureau". Different name, similar results. You will have a copy of your file under a separate folder.
Anyway, you can send a PDF for printing. You can add a shortcut for this (ie, I use the < key, on the spanish keyboard is between the Shift and Z keys). Although the PDF can convert automatically all text to curves, you don't need to do it (because the PDF can include all fonts)
My macro save copy of active file (filename_curves.cdr) - with all text converted to curves into sub-directory \curves on same folder of file and also save file. If actual file not saved yet then you are prompted to save file.
If you are still looking for macro please contact me by PM.

No, this is a big mistake. Since you're the professional, you should give the best advice to you customers. If you ask something wrong to an architect, doctor, etc surely you will tell you that's not right.
