I need to be able to tell how long a line or group or lines are. So if I drew a 2 inch square box I would like to be able to see that the total length of the line is 8 inches. The actual lines I will need to know the length of will not be straight and uniform, they will be curved and jagged and there will be multiple lines so it would be nice to select them all and see that is have 45 inches of line or whatever it may come out to. Is this possible? My actual application for this is estimating cutting time on my laser. If I know the total line length I can estimate the time it will take to cut the piece. Thanks Greg
Sorry I did not specify I am using X5

John is on holidays, maybe he will add option to his to allow multiple selections and for a total of individual lengths. I like mine the way it is. LOL
See the image (if I understand correctly)

You missed 2 things... ;-)
in orig post, he asked for a solution to find length:
Hello gpemt; What software are you using to cut with? A lot of the cutting sofware gives you the total cutting length and the time it will take.

This is possible directly in CorelDRAW now, using the commercial eCut add-on. It also outputs to many different cutters without having to go into another program.
