I shall be grateful if someone could provide some advice on how I may create a satin finish using Draw and/or Photo Paint X5. What I have in mind can be created with Photoshop (http://www.pixeladdiction.com/bb/articles.php?action=viewarticle&artid=21&page=2) as well as Illustrator (http://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials/create-a-smooth-satin-background-using-blends/).
I have tried to do the same using Draw and Photo Paint but the gradient fill tool in Corel does not seem to behave in the same manner as Photoshop's gradient fill.
Thank you.

Here you are...
Hey Jeff!
Thanks a lot! I'll have to carefully go through the steps you have shown. Great. Just great.

What a great tutorial Jeff, I was lead here via your Daily Diversion email, but there is one thing I would love to find out, how can I download your tutorial video? When learning something new, I need to have it on file so I can start and stop it as I go along recreating the example. Without downloading it, I have to keep watching the whole thing over and over again and that is frustrating and not very productive.
If I right click on the video and try to download it I get the message "this video is not downloadable from this site". Please advise, and thanks.
