Is there any want to retain the clipping paths from certain stock photos (or any images which include paths) within either CorelDraw or Photo-Paint? Sure I can create my own or use the cutout tool, but sometimes it's nice to simply use what's already there. Just curious...
Thanks,Addison
What format are the stock photos currently? And is there a freely available example for testing?
In photopaint, you should be able to retain clipping paths by saving in .CPT format.
Most of the photos in question are objects with clipping paths from iStockPhoto, and I'm sure they're Photoshop JPEGs. But I'm really just curious overall regarding compatibility. Seems a shame that something as tedious and time-consuming as clipping paths can't "transfer" to Photo-Paint from Photoshop (and vice-versa), or even CorelDraw. The only other program that I've used that manages to keep the paths is PhotoLine (www.pl32.com).
I've attached an example, but remember that this is purchased from iStockPhoto -- please don't use it anywhere else.
About PP... true, but clipping paths in a JPEG seem to be only available in PS. I have looked hi & lo in Corel apps but can't seem to get the same functionality.
Am I missing something?
