I was wondering what format you are using when you export to a Roland Verscamm printer.
RGB or CYKM
Ever once in a while I run into the problem of creating something using a color that includes either a red or blue that the printer won't print correctly.
When creating graphics are you only working with RGB colors?
The whole issue of color management is very interesting and also difficult to understand.
I am using an Oracal vinyl and have used the settings they suggest.
Thanks Jimmy
I Just use RGB colours for design And send to the printer as Rgb, Works fine for me
I'm with Ronny on this one.
I design in CMYK and use the Roland CMYK profile in Versaworks.
Why don't you print the Roland colour samples from Versaworks using the CMYK and then RGB profile and see which one you like
Edit.. Here is link to a colour chart in RGB & CMYK output this using the CMYK then the RGB profile in Versa works.

I have a cannon large format printer and I only design in RGB. When I use anything in CMYK, the colors come out wrong. The guy that sold me the printer even recommended using RGB. Red is the hardest color. I like using R 255 G 0 B 0. It comes out pretty bright which is what you want when making signs so that they stand out. I hope this helps!

The problem with just using RGB colors is that you are very limited with the selection of colors.
I have spent many hours getting the right profiles for the media I am using and in most cases it works just fine but!!!!!!!!!!
The RGB color selections really limited.
I really like using the color sections with Pantone colors because they are endless but the problem is getting what I see on the screen to even come close with the printer.

Whaaaaa? 16.7 million colors are limiting?
Maybe you mean you don't like the palette. I made one for you.
