I've had this issue for ages but have 'lived with it' but the more I need to use CorelDraw X5 the bigger the pain in the neck the issue becomes.
The tabket is a Wacom Intuos 3 an my pen is set up to have a right click for the lower side button, double click for the upper side button and single click for the nib. In all applications and Windows this works as expected but as soon as I run X5 I lose the right click and it takes several minutes to return after I have quit X5.
While using CorelDraw the only way to get a right click is to hold down the nib to bring up a pop up menu.
Is there a setting in the tablet driver (or CorelDraw?) that will stop this happening?
Try in the table setting .. tablet properties open corel go to the tablet settings associate it with draw or paint then make your custom uses of the buttons . My self have set the center button on the mouse to do a keyboard N which puts me into a navigate mode to move around the screen faster when working on zoomed in work.
Steven,
It's more a case of telling X5 NOT to do anything with the right click setting of the tablet. X5 seems to have it's own right click pop up - which over ride the wacom right click setting.
So I don't need to assign anything to the buttons via X5 - not that I can find any settings in Tools>Options or Tools>Customise to do that - it's that I want X5 to leave the wacom settings as they are.
